Crock Pot Chicken Parisienne

This slow cooker recipe makes a creamy white wine sauce.  Now, I’ll admit that it doesn’t look pretty, but it tastes fantastic.  It’s so simple and so good!  You will need a vegetable to serve with this dish so think ahead.  I like to serve grilled asparagus but any colorful vegetable will do.

Crock Pot Chicken Parisienne

  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Wash and dry chicken breasts.  Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Place in crock pot.  In small bowl, mix together sour cream and flour.  In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients.  Combine these 2 mixtures and pour over chicken.  Serve over noodles or rice.
