Italian Crock Pot Chicken with Spaghetti

This is an absolute favorite at my house.  A great change from traditional spaghetti.  And it’s so easy!  Don’t you love slow cooker recipes?

Italian Crock Pot Chicken with Spaghetti

  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 6 to 8 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 medium cloves garlic, minced or 1-2 tsp minced garlic from a jar
  • 2 teaspoons dried leaf oregano, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, or to taste
  • hot cooked spaghetti
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • Place chicken in crock pot and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, garlic, oregano and sugar. Pour over chicken.  Cook on low 6-8 hours.  Remove chicken from crock pot and add in mozarella. Stir on high until mozarella has melted and sauce is heated through.  Serve over spaghetti and top with Parmesean.
