Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles

This is a super easy crockpot chicken recipe with a little bit of zing (from the cooking sherry).  It take less than 10 minutes to prepare.  You will need about 30 minutes after you get home to add the last 2 ingredients. Serve over your favorite noodles and enjoy!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds chicken, boneless breasts or thighs
  • 1/4 c. cooking sherry (or white/red wine)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • Cooked noodles
  • Place chicken in Crock Pot. Mix wine and soup and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH 3 to 4 hours. Before serving, mix sour cream with flour. Stir mixture into chicken and juices. Heat for 30 minutes on LOW. If you heat on high, sometimes the sour cream will curdle. Serve chicken and gravy over hot, cooked noodles. I prefer egg noodles with this dish.
